The second annual Inner Peace Out Festival, is going down July 22nd, at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, 2637 Welton St, Denver CO 80205
I'm very pleased to announce that the inaugural "Artists Against Community Violence Presents: Inner Peace Out Festival," is all set to jump off at 8 pm, July 23, 2014, at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, 2637 Welton St, Denver, CO 80205. This event was inspired by my little brother, Jerrad William Wallace, who fell victim to a fatal stab wound, as he was attempting to protect his friends, at a house party in Longmont, CO, early this year.
Shredded Beats was created back in 2006 by So-Gnar. The concept was developed by Pat Milbery as a means to link the art of snowboarding with the art of music, through a unique branded event. The goal for Shredded Beats is to bring together Professional Snowboarder’s, Musician’s and Artists, to share in each other’s art forms. In essence, it’s a unique opportunity for artists in different industry’s to swap art forms through an event setting. Past artist’s involved have included Pigeon John, Swollen Members, and Opio from Soul’s Of Mischief/Hieroglyphics.
On April 7, 2012 Winter Park Resort hosted So-Gnar’s Shred Circuit Series Finals. The Shred Circuit Finals consisted of the 12 winners that pre-qualifed after winning each of their tour stops, along with four riders that qualified from the morning qualifier round and 4 wildcard spots that were given.
There were 20 total competitors during the Shred Circuit Finals, so the competition was pretty heavy. There were some unbelievable tricks being thrown and everyone was throwing down as hard as they possibly could.
"Who are we? Small Hands and Ayrex! Who are you? The faces we seem to reflect I guess!"
Last week I was asked to make a song for/about "Snowboard on the Rocks," a triple snowboard video premier and live performances by RJD2, Doomtree and Michael Menert, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. It's going down this year on Friday 9/19.
